It gives me immense pleasure to reach out to you through our website.
Thank you for reposing confidence in me to lead this flagship District of our Association in the year 2019-2020. When I attended the Institute for the Incoming District Chairmen in April of this year, I was able to stand tall, only because I was sitting on the shoulders of the illustrious Past District Chairmen of our District. They have invested enormous time and effort on laying a strong foundation and in giving strength and shape to our District. We, the Team 2019-20 are fortunate to be part of our District.
International Inner Wheel President Phyllis E Charter has given us a meaningful theme – Together we can. The theme is a reflection of our Inner Wheel Motto – Friendship and Service. When we dwell deeper, this theme is the string that connects happy and satisfying moments of our lives. We are part of one of the largest Women’s Organisation of the World, united in service to the community we live in. We are working together to change lives for the better. Let us continue our work relentlessly.
When we work together and that too with much focus on friendship and service, sure we can make MIRACLES happen. Our Association President Mamta Gupta has given this powerful acronym to help us stay focussed on our path in working together. MIRACLES do not happen by themselves, but by the effort of like-minded group of people with genuine intentions to change lives – similar to what we do. The change can be a small change for us, but may be a life changer for the person we have touched upon. Let us make MIRACLES happen.
Clubs in our District have been accomplishing projects of need for the immediate society. Let us continue our projects of help and support in schools, hospitals, villages, orphanages and local communities.
Friends, with clear directions from our International and Association Presidents, am sure every one of you is set to tune to render the most mellifluous music by way of service to the society. In our way to success, we stand as one, showing to the world that Together we can make MIRACLES happen.
